Internet, reading (sci-fi & fantasy mainly), Sc-fi TV series, history, chess, card games, meeting people, lounging around in the sunshine (nude of course), bush walking (preferably nude), languages - currently studying Old English, Esperanto and Auslan and constantly trying to improve my German.

Movies

anything sci-fi, even the really bad, old stuff - the ones that are so bad they make good comedy. most things fantasy, preferably Tolkien.

Music

very mixed. I like most styles except hard core 'screaming' types although the lyrics to many of that type (when one gets to read them) are often both intelligent & worthwhile. Favoured composers are Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and most Baroque composers - Handel, Bach, Vivaldi etc. Favoured singers include Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Suzi Quatro, Nena, Favoured groups Rammstein, Faun, Schandmaul, Eisbreicher, Spiral Dance, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Forefather, but also fond of much of 70-80's pop and most boy bands from the Beatles to The Wanted.
