About HerbalKitty
I am a massive book geek, and love to read both fiction and non-fiction books. I'm definitely a massive lover of sci-fi/fantasy (Anne McCaffrey, Trudi Canavan and Philip Pullman) and also Harry Potter (sorry, not really sorry!). My non-fiction library resembles a metaphysical bookstore with a huge helping of herbalism and nutritional/cookery books.
I own far too many Tarot Card and Oracle decks, spend a silly amount of time reading tea leaves and meditate as a way of understanding myself and this crazy world that we live in. I also do a lot of daydreaming, or as I like to call it ~Quantuum Planning The Future~. Aka procrastinating. Hmmm...
I spend the majority of my time: crafting and making crystal wire window hangings/spiritual magical shiny things; gardening and talking to my vegetables, fruit plants and herbs; studying for my Herbal Medicine certification, Nutrition, Feng Shui, Colour Therapy and Crystal Healing. I could talk your ears off about the scientific information on crystals, frequencies, energy and matter... but no one likes to be bored to sleep, huh ^_^. I also don't know everything about all of these subjects; I am a seeker of knowledge, an experimenter and there is always more to learn about everything.
I'm a practising witch, lover of all things nature including no clothing barriers and being out in the elements. I will confess now to not being a massive fan of sitting on the beach in the sun, as there are other things I'd rather spend my time doing .

Movies
Practical Magic, The Hobbit (extended), LoTR (extended), Repo: The Genetic Opera.Not a fan of horror movies these days, or anything with violence/triggering abuse scenes. I'm a sensitive individual and not afraid to admit that! This means that some thrillers are out of the question, and no war/history films as they will have me weeping within 2 minutes.
Music
I play the drums (tribal, trance and drumkit), the ocarina (really badly) and the didgeridoo (only when I don't have my lip piercings in).I love most types of music and generally, I listen to songs that make me *feel something*. What that something is, depends on my mood at the time. I guess this is the equivalent of *vague-profiling*.If I can sing to it, dance to it, or feel it in my body I'm likely to love it! Massive lover of goth, rock, metal, garage and 80's pop music. I would admit to loving 90's pop music but that makes me feel slightly wrong to admit it.
