About Robert-64
I have been a naturist since 1971 (I was 22 yo). My main practice has been to enjoy naturist beaches on the Atlantic Ocean or any quiet spot on the seaside or in mountain in France. It was a family activity with the kids when they were young, until a point my wife prefered the textile beaches than the nudist ones. I continued alone but less frequently. We were not nudist at home. When we moved to the UK it does not help. Unfortunately, various constraints made it even more difficult for me. On the other side I started to stay nude at home as often as possible, tired of compromises.
Being isolated naturist within my couple with limited time to go for outdoor activities (I am the carer of my wife), I joined this site to feel part of a community of nudists, to exchange thoughts and experiences with others with similar views, and to share some local information (resorts, groups, beaches, swimming pools). I have joined British Naturism.
It could be an interesting topic to discuss the difference between nudism and naturism according to the various cultures and countries. I am open minded and don't pretend I have the truth. I now use both terms almost indistinctly. I have also been member of environmentalist associations, since the 70. Nudism certainly means for me proximity and harmony with the Nature, and with my fellow human beings and every creature. Nudity is natural and fulfilling, it is the pleasure of freedom, and it is fun! I enjoy this lifestyle. I think the motto Liberty-Equality-Fraternity illustrates this lifestyle very well, with tolerance, respect, absence of judgement and kindness to others. The individual wellbeing of nudism when alone or in family, is great, but the joy of social nudism, public nudity in interaction with others is an essential component I enjoy (and need). I am looking for meeting up other naturists.
PS: Please don't ask me to chat on google, skype etc. if you are not naturist and not interested at all in naturism/nudism, and if your profile is blank.
