About barebummum

I have been a naturist since I met my hubby at 19. We're divorced now but I have three children, two of whom have already flown the nest. I have a good local group of naturist friends. I am a freelance writer and love meeting new people: everyone has a story to tell. I also dabble in photography: everyone's faces and bodies tell a story too.rnrnMy ex and I raised our children in a clothing optional home. I felt it was important, particularly in this day and age, for young people to feel good about their bodies and to understand that very few of us are supermodels! Nude vacations led naturally to nude times at home for the most part. For me naturism is about stripping away insecurities as well as clothes and being your true self. That means being honest about your feelings, beliefs and thoughts. Once we unburden ourselves of our material and emotional baggage, we really know ourselves and each other. By exposing ourselves physically, that lead to us exposing ourselves mentally too.

Who I'd like to meet

I am interested in meeting people from further afield and also just getting to know people. I'm a sociable soul really. I have a boyfriend, though he's not naturist, but it's not a deal breaker fortunately. Thinks I'm bonkers but lovely (I hope!)rnrnPS I'm not looking to get romantically involved or even looking for a bit of fun on the side. I've been asked too many times for more photos. Surely one's enough? Is it me or my body you want to get to know? If it's the latter then I don't think we'll get along. My Interests

I enjoy reading and going to the cinema. I obviously love getting naked outdoors but when I can't get my kit off, a nice long walk with the dog is great. It's good to burn off the calories from an evening stuffing my face with food at our local Italian or Indian!
