About budgrmi
I am single and live in the Grand Rapids, MI area. I am semi-retired, but I still free-lance as A) a graphic designer, B) a composer-performer of folk/rock music (I play acoustic 12-string guitar and a bit of piano) and C) as a playwright/director/actor. I have directed/appeared in numerous stage shows (everything from ROCKY HORROR to PETER PAN), been in several commercials/industrial films, and I have won major acting and writing honors. I have two scripts that are published through Dramatic Publishing in Chicago which have been performed internationally. While I enjoy the performing arts very much, I am NOT the stereotypical gay arts person.

My Interests
Love being naked (duh). I also enjoy hiking/camping (highlights include camping at 12,000 ft. in the Rockies several times... and several week-long canoeing/camping trips in the U.S. and Canada), skiing (snow and water), rock/wall climbing, and am a big fan of roller coasters. I have been parasailing, snorkeling in the Mediterranean, spelunking, skydiving, white water rafting and I am a PADI-certified scuba diver (no, I am not making this up...). In the day-to-day, I read (Terry Pratchett, early Anne Rice, David Sedaris are among many favorites), enjoy movies and music (Sting, Indigo Girls, David Wilcox, Aerosmith some faves), have really gotten into baseball and football in the last few years, and am actually a good cook. It helps when there is someone to cook for...
