About GrahamFreedom
I grew up in a fairly religious household with very conservative parents who definitely were not nudists! As a kid I took on loads of shame about many aspects of myself, including being naked. I rebelled in my 30s, left the church, and got into nudism. My first public nude experience was at a nude beach which I initially visited just to see if there really were naked people there, and ended up trying it myself. At first I found it frightening, exciting, and tremendously liberating. Nobody seemed to care that I was stark naked!
After that I jokingly dared a vivacious female friend I met at a sign language class to go to a swim night at a local nudist club with me, and was surprised when she accepted. Despite both being hugely nervous, we went along and had a hilarious time meeting deaf nudists and one of her work colleagues. We were both hooked, visiting nude beaches and going on nude bush walks together, something I still love.
Nudism is not very mainstream in Australia, so after that I went on a tour of French nudist resorts including Le Cap dAgde, Euronat, Le Eglantier, and La Jenny to experience how Europeans do it. So much fun, so little clothing!
I feel very connected to nature when I am naked, and having not grown up with nudism, it still feels exciting being nude in nature. The freedom of being nude outdoors and in public feels amazing. It is like the antithesis of my emotionally stifling family of origin and has been a source of much personal growth for me. I get nervous suggesting getting naked with friends though, so I am here to widen my nudist social circle and meet more likeminded people to hang out naked with in person and online.
When I am not naked, I am a musician and stand up comedian. I like to explore all sorts of crazy possibilities in life so maybe one day I will combine all three!
