Oh depends on the mood. All genres have their place. I do however really enjoy movies with an actor that makes one forget there an actor and just see the character. Big names cannot do that, or at least rarely can.

My Heroes

I'm not really into hero worship. Sport stars, musicians, politicians and activists get called hero all the time. I've seen many heroic things in my life, acts of true(not tax right-off) philanthropy, real courage, real perseverance, real risk. I don't think I ever saw a rock star, sports person, activist, or politician etc., do something heroic. I think the real heroes are the individuals that do something, go out of their way to help or listen or be kind to someone less fortunate or hurt or in danger, and then walk away simply satisfied they did some good that day.
