About Mourning-Dove
(I know my username is weird, I'd change it if I could, but it'd make me revoke my certification here so it ain't worth it)
Howdy! I'm Cam. I grew up in the swamps of South Carolina. I am a Massage Therapist by profession, but my passion is farming. Besides that, I'm an outdoorsman, writer, traveler, scientific researcher, health coach, and carpenter. I am a laid back kinda man and like a simple life.
I've been a Nudist at heart since I was born, but my parents violently discouraged it from toddlerhood on. Even so, when I was 14, one blazing hot summer day in South Carolina I was working in the garden, my clothes drenched with sweat, and it suddenly dawned on me how stupid it was that I was wearing clothes in that kind of weather, so I stripped naked then and there. So that got me thinking about modesty and privacy, and I finally realized how absurd the ideas are surrounding nudity that our society teaches. My study of health and biology, which showed the benefits of bare feet and sunlight exposure on bare skin, also convinced me even more of the benefits of outdoor nudity. I want to raise my *future* children in this beautiful and pure way. Most of all I love the openness of this lifestyle, having nothing to hide, not just physically, but mentally, too. Being open and honest and upfront. Naturism is about so much more than just not wearing clothes.
Surprisingly, after a long time of talking with my family about it, my whole family is now on board with Nudism, tentatively anyway.
I've gone to nude beaches, lived in Nudist communities, no resorts yet.
My study of the Bible has shown that, surprisingly, the Bible strongly supports Nudism, when you really look deeply into it without being blinded by a tinted lens of dogmatic beliefs. It's important to know enough about ancient Hebrew and Koine Greek to understand the culture of the people who wrote the Bible. There is no religious objection to Naturism that cannot be easily refuted with some basic common sense.
Naturism/Nudism is not a new idea, it is not an alternative lifestyle, it is the original human lifestyle, clothing is the new idea. I think it's preposterous that "free" countries almost universally ban social nudity. What business does the government have to tell you what cloth you will or will not put on your body?! The Western world has come to accept and legalize all sorts of strange and questionable things, it's time to legalize the human body unclothed. It's crazy to think about when you put it in perspective.
My goal is to beautify everything in my life and leave such a legacy behind. My attitude is essentially just practical and down-to-earth. I've traveled around the country, working on farms and ranches. I have a deep love of Nature that underlies everything I do. My aim is to start a homestead community and live in harmony with the Land so far as I can.
I'm honestly kinda fascinated with the whole anti-single men thing going on here, and I totally agree: single men are terrible horrible people! I am not and I have never been a single male! ...haha, I'm kidding of course. But to be fair, a lot of men, especially young men, are jerks, and people sadly join this site for the wrong reasons. I am not one of those people though. (I understand why people exclude single men and I don't take it personally even though it is quite insulting, I have thick skin, but just IMAGINE if people treated women or people of a different race or religion like that... That wouldn't fly, now would it, eh? Don't judge a book by its cover, give people the benefit of the doubt, be kind. Just because they're men doesn't mean you get to discriminate against them based on sex without even giving them a chance to prove themselves to be honorable. Men of honor are out there.
PLEASE READ: I truly appreciate your interest in reading about me, but I request that you please do not ever acquire or use my words or pictures for any purpose. That would be a breach of trust. I will never do that to you, so I firmly ask you not to do it to me. Thank you and have a nice day!

Who I'd like to meet
Down-to-earth like-minded Naturists. Not looking for sex, money, or anything else. I believe in chivalry and honor and would be happy to meet anyone who lives those values.
My Interests
Biology, Botany, psychology, Gardening/Agrosilvopastoral Agriculture, Livestock, Natural Building, Hunting, tracking, Fishing, hiking, wilderness bushcraft, camping, linguistic studies, reading, writing, history, Horsemanship, anthropology, philosophy, theology, crafts (like basket weaving, pottery, soapmaking, flint knapping, etc.), really anything in the field and forest.
Movies
Dances with Wolves, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Dune movies, Interstellar, The Matrix, The Last Samurai, The Hunger Games trilogy, Quigley Down Under, Hondo (an old John Wayne Western), etc. Old Westerns mostly.
Music
2nd South Carolina String Band, old Southern folk songs, Celtic fiddle tunes, Hank Williams, John Denver, and Native American traditional medicine songs. I love traditional country music (not the trashy new stuff): Alan Jackson, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Rodney Atkins, and even Anne Wilson. I also love film soundtracks, I think of it as a modern improvement on classical. The movies I list below are a few examples of which there are many more. Sometimes the soundtrack is better than the movie itself. Hans Zimmer's work in particular is just extraordinary.
My Heroes
People who remain aligned with their principles of honor no matter what, who sacrifice themselves for others, who devote their lives to helping others, people who refuse to bend or yield or compromise with evil, people who openly speak the truth, ambitious people with a sense of purpose in life and a beautiful vision for the future, and strong, practical people who are grounded in reality, not deceived by popular falsehoods and collective groupthink.
