I'm a life-long meditator in the Eastern Indian tradition. In the past couple of years I've wholeheartedly embraced my familial roots in Catholicism. Don't let this scare you. All natural NO shaving - in case you're wondering. Lavishly questioning me about whether I shave my body is NOT really the most interesting way to open a conversation.

NUDE BACKPACKING: My views have changed of late. I'd be happy to find a couple of guys who enjoy backpacking and aren't hung up about anyone getting nude around the campsite. As far as trekking a trail in the nude, it's pretty risky, often too much to ask for, and a bit of a fantasy; all depending on where in the country you are. Let's hit the trails first, because that IS what we enjoy doing, and take things as they come.

FULL VIEW CAMMING - Brothers! Displaying ourselves in our FULL MANHOOD isn't (necessarily) about exhibitionism. It's a powerful display of Masculine Power, not only for oneself but gives all other men the permission to look, to see, and be inspired by. Take a look at a blog I posted "SETTING UP A PROFILE" https://www.truenudists.com/members/blogs/ . . I think it would be helpful to anyone, new or old to the site. Nudism is about allowing ourselves to be SEEN and sharing our natural physical and spiritual humanity with each other. Privacy is a necessary part of our experience here, but as something to be NEGOTIATED, not used as a wall to hide behind. I offer some suggestions that balance the need for the most privacy with the greatest spirit of openness.

I encourage you to participate in the community by getting yourself CERTIFIED - it ensures everyone's privacy that you yourself are seeking - and upload some photos of yourself out and about expressing your right to be nude in a world of no agreement for it. Get CERTIFIED folks!

Who I'd like to meet

Open-minded men for Nude Male Camaraderie and challenging shared nude excursions in the great outdoors. Lately I've been very interested in Russian Banya culture and the (non-sexual) male social club mentality surrounding it. (Currently in Russia there is a growing health movement among younger people to revive the old Slavic pre-Soviet era rural banyas. They have outdoor festivals, competitions, and awards for Best Parmaster, etc.) I've started a private group for Cleveland and Chicago LOCALS to organize group trips to the two Russian Steam and Sauna social clubs there. If you're in CLOSE PROXIMITY or travelling distance to either cities, or regularly fly in on business, etc., come join us. https://www.truenudists.com/group/clesteamerscle (Previously) I had to shut down the Meetup group I started: NATURIST MEN'S BACKPACKING for various personal reasons, not least of which were the exorbitant fees they were charging, and laying out myself, to keep the group active on their site. It was very disappointing to have built a community of over 300 men throughout the country and then have to shut it down so soon after its inception. I'm thinking of starting a private Facebook group to organize backpacking events again. REACH OUT if you think you'd like to take part in creating a few ventures out on the trail.********For the past four years I've been part of a (non-nudist) (predominantly straight) men's group centered around Spirit, ceremony and plant medicine. I'd like to cultivate some of that connection and fellowship with other men with the freedom to be open, uninhibited, and unconcerned with all the usual homophobia attached to men being nude with and around other men. At the same time, I'm personally looking to explore naturism as a way for me to be in my nude body as a man among other men, facing a physical challenge together, without giving way to anything erotic or sexual between us.
