consider myself a "recombinent technologist" , ride a "bobber" GL1100 motorcycle when weather allows, drive a 1949 F7 Ford truck when not fixing it up. Walk /hike long distances. Use, play with, build and try to keep up with Computers (also my career) since 1964. Also consider myself an "Uber Geek" not for smarts, but was/am considered geeky long before it was fashionable.

My Heroes
friend of mine who was in an industrial fire. burned very very badly, pronounced dead numerous times. hundreds of operations, 30 plus years ago and still kicking. Every time I start thinking my road has/is been rocky I think of him and it shames me back to real.
