Hi , my name is Sasha. Im a proud single mom to my amazing daughter, Natalie. We made the heartbreaking decision to leave Ukraine because of the war, hoping to find safety here in the United States until it is safe home. Leaving our home, our relatives, and everything familiar behind was one of the hardest choices I have ever made. Part of my heart is still there, with my family and loved ones who remain back home. Every day carries both gratitude for our safety and worry for those we love.
Starting over in a new country as a single mother has not been easy. My English was limited when we arrived, I wasnt working yet, and I felt the full weight of responsibility on my shoulders. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and loneliness. But there was also strength strength I didnt even know I had because when you are a mother, you keep going for your child.
After we settled into our new home, we became friendly with an older neighbor who was kind and welcoming. Over time, he introduced us to the local nudist community and invited us to attend a few events.
Becoming part of the nudist lifestyle wasnt something we planned but in many ways, it felt like coming home.
I grew up in Ukraine right by Redkino Lake, where there was a nudist beach. Every summer since I was a little girl, I spent most of my days there with my family. Those memories remain some of the happiest and special of my childhood.
So when we attended our first nudist event here a pool party and cookout I was nervous. As a single mother in a new country, I am always protective and cautious. But everyone was kind, and welcoming.

Seeing Natalie make friends with other girls her age brought tears to my eyes.
What touched me most was seeing how naturally Natalie fit in.
Natalie absolutely loves the social side of the events. Shes very affectionate and enjoys feeling cared for and included. The community has been incredibly kind to her always making sure she feels welcome, offering extra snacks, organizing games for the kids, and celebrating little moments. She jokingly says she likes being spoiled because everyone is so warm and attentive. For her, it feels like having a big extended family.
She especially loves the swimming days and outdoor gatherings. Being able to run, play, and swim freely reminds me so much of my own childhood summers. Watching her laugh with friends, completely comfortable and confident, is one of the most beautiful gifts I could receive as a mother.
For me, introducing Natalie to this lifestyle has been deeply meaningful. It connects my past with our present. In the middle of loss, war, and rebuilding our lives, we have found a community built on acceptance
When we first arrived, life was toughmy English wasn't very good, and I was not working at the time. To help support us, my daughter started modeling, which turned out to be a wonderful way for us to connect with others. Through her work, we met a talented photographer who introduced us to the local nudist community and events.
We never imagined we would become part of the nudist lifestyle, but we have truly enjoyed the sense of community, freedom, and acceptance it offers. Our first event was a pool party and cookout, and I was so nervous about attending. But everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and respectful, which instantly made me feel at ease. Natalie was able to make friends with other girls her age, which was a beautiful experience for her.
Since then, we've participated in various local activities like swimming, movie nights, and social gatherings. These events have allowed us to meet wonderful, caring people and become part of a supportive community
