I am not sure where to begin but here it goes.
I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I grew up here and lived here all my life.
I like bow hunting in fall, but I haven't gone last year. I actually lost my crossbow I'm here before. I left it sitting on the ground behind my car and left the woods. I did go back the next day but it was gone. I do have another bow I could use. Maybe next fall. I like the outdoors and the wilderness, the wild animals I may see. Sometimes they come right up to me while I'm sitting in my tree, checking me out. I like the scenery of new places I have never been to before. I like lakes and beaches and the scenes of the oceans. I loved Hawaii and would love to go back sometime again. I just came back in April for the second time of being there. Went on my first helicopter ride around the island that was pretty awesome. Also went zip-lining which was a lot of fun. Snorkeling was a lot of fun. So I like swimming as well. And fishing and camping, although I have a gun camping in quite a few years but still have the equipment. I love the smell of wood burning in the fire pit. I you have a fire pit in my backyard so I still get to smell that wood. I love waterfalls and moonlight and the quiet of the night. I love lighting and the sounds of thunder. It reminds me of sitting on the front porch as a child where I used to watch it. I love the colors of flowers and the smell that surrounds them.
I like adventure and trying something new. Even if it is something I may be a failure at doing, I will enjoy trying anyway. I have yet to go sky diving. It will be scary as hell to jump from the plane, but I know once out, I would love it.
I am an active person and don't watch much tv, but when I do it is usually a movie. I love many types of movies, but mostly action, suspense, comedy and ones that get to me emotionally. I will cry to some of them on rare occasions. Don't tell anyone, he he.
I have a karaoke setup at home. So I like to sing once in awhile but I'm not very good at singing most songs. But it calms me.
I like unusual things. Anything that is different is usually interesting to me. I love seeing the creative things people make. I can be very creative at times and I wish I were more creative than I am. Putting a creative idea into a reality can be hard to do for most people.
I like to figure out how things work after they break. Sometimes fixing them to working order again. I am mechanically inclined and like to figure out ways to make something work better than it did before. I can get very engrossed in something that interests me. I am very persistent at times. I worked on machinery most of my life and was always looking for ways to make them work better. I do the work on my own vehicles when they break down. If it is something that I don't know, I will learn it so that I can fix it. I have brought my vehicle in to a mechanic only a couple of times to get fixed in my lifetime. I probably saved a quite a bit of money for doing so.
I love to decorate at xmas time. Mostly for the outside. I had 20,000 lights total in front of my house 2yrs ago. I have a lot of ideas to create things with lights on them for xmas decor outside. I have a smaller home now since then and my yard in front is about a quarter as big as it was over the past 8 yrs. where I used to live, out in the country. All the lights and decor gets my xmas spirit going.
Unlike winter, I love the warm air of summer. Although winters over the past several years here in Wisconsin have been just getting warmer and warmer. No complaints there though. We usually don't get snow till just before xmas now, where it was usually starting to come around end of October. Global warming?
I love Pizza, Chili, Lasagna, Fried Chicken, Lettuce with green peppers, carrots, black olives, red onions, bacon, and cheddar cheese and ranch dressing on it. I love cook outs on the grill, the smell of the smoke and the mouth watering charbroiled taste of the food. I love peanut butter, have it on toast before work days. Love to spread it on thick and put honey and cinnamon on top.
Love to drink milk with my food. I go through a gallon in 3-4 days. Got Milk! He he!
Gotta have a bag of Doritoes in the house for snacks, mmmm. That is usually the only kind of chips I snack on. I love the taste of chocolate, but rarely eat it. I can hardly get a whole snickers bar down. That used to be a favorite. But chocolate icecream in the summer is a favorite. Sometimes with other stuff in it. I like to add orange juice and milk, and blend it, mmmm. I like my veggies raw, once cooked I don't care to eat. Unless only half way cooked like in a stir fry dish, yummy. I try to eat right, it keeps me in better health, I think. Rarely see a doctor, been 3 yrs. now and need to get a physical though, even though I am in good health.
Well, those are some of the things i like.
I will tell you now more about me personally. I am 5' 9'' blue eyes, brown hair, fair skin and tanned in the summer (since I am out by my pool and like being outdoors during the nice weather) Dress in blue jeans and t-shirts most of the time or a button up shirt. Wear glasses for reading when at home, but can still read pretty small print yet without them.
Where to start...I'm not your average man, I am one of a kind, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it just is.
I am usually in a happy and smiling mood. And especially so after work, cuz the things that make me happiest are always outside of work.
I am an optimistic person. I believe you need to be in order to excell in life. I think that is what gives me that cheerful and positive outlook in life. I love to escape into dreams and wonder what if...I wonder about what is and dream of things that will be or may never be.
I am an honest and trusting person. I enjoy talking to others who are the same. I love to listen to others and hear their stories, whether a happy or a sad story. I always believed if a person is telling the truth, they would never have to remember the lie they told. If you are going to lie to someone, you are only lying to yourself , too. So why not be honest, you will be much happier that way.
I try to be as kind and understanding as I can be. No one understands your own feelings as well as yourself, but everyone understands the feelings they have had in a same or similar situation. Sometimes it seems the world is rising to swallow you in a way no one else could have ever of felt before or since. I may not have an answer for you, but I would always listen to how you may be feeling. I would want to know what you are feeling. I think that is the first step. And sometimes it is the only thing a person needs and wants...is for one to listen. It is all about sharing, caring, and loving and putting your own needs aside for a while.
I love putting a smile on someones face. It puts a smile back on mine. I am shy and outgoing, quiet and loud...sometime I feel too much or hide inside myself. I see the past changing and I don't understand the future. I get scared and get worried...and sometimes ever so lonely. I need a special lady, true to me. To share our love and love through eternity.
