54 year old. I'm overweight but would love some help in getting rid of some of the excess
baggage. I'm not a sports guy, I'm actually very non competitive.
I use to backpack a lot but I think those days are gone, still, I love day rides or walks in nature.
Please don't take me to a dance club, and if you do, lets keep it a short while, I'm a horrible dancer and it's just not my thing.
I can place candles in the living room and dance with you at home barefoot, where it will not hurt you as much if
I step on you! I can be rather romantic as well as silly at times.
I'm on this site so you know my clothes come off the second I get home. I am a bit of a spiritual naturist and have a preference for early weekday mornings at the beach, or hot spring, places where it makes sense to be nude.

Who I'd like to meet
LADY: Well, I'd REALLY love to meet that very special lady that is HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY and is kindhearted.She would probably be somewhere around 50 - 56 years old, 4'2" - 5'6", any race, most any body-type (although I do have strong reservations against athletic, only in so far as I am far from that and no wish to be that and I'm very non competitive thus PROBABLY not a good match). She speaks English, Spanish would be a plus but not necessary. Could also speak Spanish but seriously willing to learn English. This does not make me the gateway for a green card though. My Interests
Love to snorkel, leisurely bike rides, I love to be outdoors, easy going canoeing or kayaking(I'm better in a canoe). I like sailing but have not been on a sailboat in ages. I like to sing, I have a horrible voice but I still enjoy singing especially with someone else. If you play a musical instrument you will most likely have my attention. Have admirationfor the arts in general. I can sit and watch the pelicans or just the clouds go by.
Movies
Depends on my mood. I have varied taste. usually I prefer something that will make me think.I guess I'm somewhat philosophical. I'm no brain, but I'm no idiot either, I'm just a regularguy that likes to think about life and living. Fav stupid move: Young Frankenstein. Really enjoy Ted Talks.Tom Shadyac's" I Am" was a real nice simple presentation of who we are.I like audio books as well, tired of eyeglasses so audiobooks are a nice change.
Music
I like music especially with great lyrics. I don't like rude or vulgar lyricsnor needlessly violent ones. but I don't think music has to be vanilla ice cream either,it can have great social impact.
My Heroes
My dad. People I like to read and have some special respect for: H.D.Thoreau, Walt Whitman, W. Emerson, Thomas Moore, Jack Kornfield, J Kabat - Zinn, Gene Sharp. Subjects such as Non confrontational communication, universality, Quantum Entanglement.I know these are big names, but I will laugh for hours at Larson's old "The Far Side" stuff. Like I said, I'm no genius, I just enjoy well constructed thought, and I listen to Joni Mitchel singing :'We are stardust" and think, how we all came from the same, we are one, with different portions of experiential consciousness some in order and some in disarray, wondering if there is a way to line up the proverbial ducks. I'm just me.
