Naturism has many benefits and it is a pity that any of us has hang ups about it. Wed be better adjusted and more confident if we had all been brought up comfortable with the lifestyle.
This site seems to be used for a wide variety of purposes as is the sister site TrueSwingers which is a bit wilder and has more relaxed posting rules.
The sites seem to be populated predominantly by men both straight and gay but cater for all genders and sexual orientations.
For me, it is really about trying to make contact with genuine naturists. When I have been to naturist locations I have tended to find that people are educated, thoughtful, respectful, interesting and well behaved. The atmosphere is accepting and non judgmental. Stripping away the clothing is something of a leveller. People of all shapes, sizes, ages just tend to get along together. It is not sexual.
It is also true that naturist locations can be rather quieter than adjacent textile areas which is quite an advantage for example when looking for a quiet spot by the sea.
Some of the attitudes on these sites seem to be directed more towards casual sexual activity of one kind or another which is not typical of the naturist scene except perhaps at a few places like Cap dAgde. I havent been there but have been to a lot of naturism friendly beaches and a few resorts including Vritomartis, Le Levant, La Jenny. I also find the spa / sauna cultures on mainland Europe preferable to the more conservative, and arguably less hygienic, British way!
