- wildling_73 responded to a topic "Can you recommend a good bio of Obama?"
- Bringing this old thread back because I found one. Obama: From Promise to Power by David Mendell. Mendell is an investigative journalist, so his job...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "What have you all been reading?"
- Funny you mention a paranormal thriller. I just got through Ararat by Christopher golden. If I had known it would turn out to be a horror novel, I...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "Southern California?"
- I haven't seen anything in California on their calendar. They keep it continuously updated. The destinations I see tend to concentrate in the...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "When You Can't Be Nude"
- So you rarely wear long pants at home? Why would I wear long pants at home? I wear long pants for two reasons only: 1) I'm at work and the dress...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "New rules and requirements"
- I do find certification to be a good thing -- keeps the sock puppets out. As an aside: I thought the previous group picture better expressed what the...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "Getting some sun today"
- That is wonderful. First time with no tan lines is a personal victory to be noted.
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "Talk to a Friend"
- The focus of the original topic was asking for advice on how to bring the word of nudism to a Christian. I wish it had kept going in that direction,...
- wildling_73 responded to a topic "on track for one book per week"
- I find that I am more selective now about what I read, because I have so much going on in my life that I don't have as much time to read as I...

- wildling_73 responded to a topic "Daylight Wasting Time"
- If it was up to me, there would be no daylight savings time. Just keep standard time year round like people did for millennia.

About wildling_73
Sometimes I feel like a "wild child," i.e., a child thought to have been raised by wolves. I find I have a lot in common with the historic case of Victor of Aveyron. Like him, I became a nudist not for any philosophical reason, but because my body dislikes clothes.

Who I'd like to meet
People who understand autism, who don't buy into conventional ideas of "success," who are curious about the world beyond their home and work concerns.I get a lot of friend requests from people who seem to do nothing here but collect friends, maybe occasionally join a group but then never participate. I am not interested in those kinds of requests.
My Interests
I have a plot in a nudist community in the Dominican Republic (Cambium is the community's name). I want to go live there permanently, but first, I must find a way to gain legal residency. When I am there, I love tending to my gardens and fruit trees, watching the birds, and studying the butterflies and other insect life. Year-round growing season, year-round nude season -- this is the beauty of the tropics.
Movies
"Mozart and the Whale" is a movie I strongly relate to.
Music
Someone's Sister, Wild Child, They Might Be Giants, Jaci Velasquez, Amy Grant
My Heroes
Why have heroes when everyone has feet of clay? I prefer people who love and are likable.
