Edgbaston, Birmingham, Thursday 16th April 2026I have been loads of times fully nude in front of complete strangers many times, in my life; I couldn't even know where to start.I recently had an awkward episode happen to me, when I ordered a plumbing company to fix my kitchen tap and the silicon job around my bathroom.A few days ago a 'kid' shows up at my doorstep, he was barely 22; and looked at me, as if he was a deer, caught in the headlight, lol !"You will need to put some clothes on, Sir", he said in a rather shy, but somewhat firm voice. I just looked at him and politely, but convinced him that I was not only the occupier, but also the owner of my apartment and that I have the right (within the UK) to stay naked, in my own home.Sadly he wasn't having it. As someone who has worked in the building trade all my life Ive come across many awkward clients.
If someone doesnt show the proper respect, walk away.
I understand your wish to be naked in your own home, but it is disrespectful to be so when people are working in your home. These days, it could so easily have been a young 22 year old woman, and that might have landed you in more trouble than you bargained for. And I dont just mean from the police.

Probably the best way to handle a situation like this would have been to tell him when the appointment was made that the customer was always nude at home and didn't dress for tradesmen. Then the tradesman could have declined the job, and the customer could have found someone else at that point.
