(Cape) Tribulation.
Named by Captain Cook as the Endeavour was in trouble as he struggled to navigate the Great Barrier Reef. (He eventually had to stop for repairs and named that place Cooktown.)
Cape Tribulation is a popular holiday spot but I'd suggest Cape Kimberley just to the south for getting your gear off. Watch out for the crocodiles near the mouth of the Daintree River, though!
