It was a great day to paddle the creek for both man and beast. Started out paddles down the creek and stppoed suddenly as this creature was sitting in the middle of the creek on floating debris. He was sunning himself and looked like a toll taker. If you want to go by me you have to pay a toll. Well I edged up the side of the creek and he reluctantly slid off his perch and into the water. Then I encountered a few relatives down the creek but they were a bit shy. Added a little adventure to the paddle.
