NC Hikes on the AT July 28 and 29

Two hikes planned for the NC AT with Roobinsville as the base. 28th hike is 7.9 miles, mostly a downhill hike listed as Strenuous. The 29th hike will be 7.6 miles and is liste as moderate.

Nice 8 mile hike on Thursday. It was not very strenuous, Just one steep and rocky part on the decent. Saw two campers that waved to us, and four hikers walking in the opposite direction that said, "Good morning, travelinng light today".Friday's hike was cancelled.
