The Horten H.IX, RLM designation Ho 229 (or Gotha Go 229 for extensive re-design work done by Gotha to prepare the aircraft for mass production) was a German prototype fighter/bomber initially designed by Reimar and Walter Horten to be built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik late in World War II. It was the first flying wing to be powered by jet engines.
The design was a response to Hermann Gring's call for light bomber designs capable of meeting the "31000" requirement; namely to carry 1,000 kilograms (2,200 lb) of bombs a distance of 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) with a speed of 1,000 kilometres per hour (620 mph). Only jets could provide the speed, but these were extremely fuel-hungry, so considerable effort had to be made to meet the range requirement. Based on a flying wing, the Ho 229 lacked all extraneous control surfaces to lower drag. It was the only design to come even close to the 31000 requirements and received Gring's approval. Its ceiling was 15,000 metres (49,000 ft).

239 is a prime number. The next is 241, with which it forms a pair of twin primes. 239 is a Sophie Germain prime and a NewmanShanksWilliams prime. It is an Eisenstein prime with no imaginary part and real part of the form 3n 1 (with no exponentiation implied). Because the next odd number, 241 is prime, 239 is a Chen prime. 239 is also a happy number.

The United States Air Force's 241st Air Traffic Control Squadron (241 ATCS) is an Air Traffic Control unit located at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, St. Joseph, Missouri.
It is the mission of the 241st to deploy, operate, and maintain Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) in support of the state of Missouri, Air National Guard or United States Air Force Requirements.
The 241st is one of only ten ANG Air Traffic Control Squadrons located throughout the United States available to deploy worldwide in support of operational forces at host nation or bare base locations and provide basic airfield services and combat airspace support to the Theater Air Operations Center (AOC). DATCALS provide the capability to identify, sequence, and separate aircraft; provide final approach guidance and control instructions to aircraft at deployed locations in all types of weather. DATCALS equipment and personnel can be employed to provide liaison, control tower, Radar Approach Control (RAPCON), precision landing capabilities, and mobile Tactical Air Navigation Aid (TACAN) services or any combination.
