I can't quite help you. My grandparents came from Ireland.

They would have sailed on the Titanic but Grandma was "too pregnant to sail," according to White Star Lines. Uncle Mike was born a couple of weeks after the the Titanic sank and died a few weeks before the Titanic (1997) movie came out.
