Hello,

I might be out in the area in mid January. I've never been to Black's Beach and I'm curious about what the amenities are? Is there a food concession and a bathroom on the beach? Can I buy things like water and food or do I need to bring a cooler with me?

Down on the beach there are no amenities. Anything you want you will need to haul down one of the two trails that lead from the parking area for the Glider Port (where they do have a snack bar and portages potties). It is a fairly strenuous climb either way you go.

Just to let you know, its been cold here this year, water temp is very cold.
A better option might be one of the resorts nearby.
De Anza resort or Glen Ellen.
