Deleting Message Threads

Tried to get rid of some old threads and inappropriate propositions from my messages.
When I clicked on Delete they disappeared, but the next time I went to messages they were back.
How do I get rid of the permanently?

Known problem. As of right now, you can't get rid of them.

Yup.... been unable to delete for several years now. Used to work. Another example of how mgmt/owners dont do anything to fix the site.

Ha - I sent a message to the site last week about this problem. No reply. I really wish I hadn't paid to become a life member... very little return on investment!

I'm glad I'm not the only one...well, you know what I mean. Not glad, but it makes me feel better than I'm not the only one who's frustrated. Even people who I block reappear with their messages. one was highly inappropriate and I didn't want the person who wrote to me to be anywhere near my own profile. Even blocking them didn't make their message go away. It's very annoying.
