Suspect there arent any hot springs in the Midwest but wondered about natural springs and trails for swimming and hiking. Was told there are some safe places up in the MI UP but dont know specifics.Anyone have any more info?

When on the Pictured Rocks boat tour out of Munising, the guide said there were several beaches where naked hippies hung out - I think he was pointing at Mosquito Beach. I didn't see any the next day at a couple beaches, but I managed some discreet sunning and skinny dipping at 12 Mile Beach.
