Barcelona

Going to Barcelona next month and I was wondering what the differences were between Playa Mar Bella and the beach at Sitges. Anyone been to either?

I've been a couple of times to the beach in Barcelona itself (MarBella). Busy, all sorts of people, quite visible to people walking along the promenade. Nice swimming. Very handy for the city. Not been to Sitges (but easy to get there, frequent trains).
