Elegance in a few easy steps

Elegance is always appreciated, but how can we apply it?

As a bloke I consider myself largely invisible in this space and probably put in less effort than I could when heading to the beach. Perhaps my exception is my swimsuit collection which tends to small and well-fitted. It goes downhill from there with, generally, a bleached cap, well-worn thongs (flip-flops) and an perhaps old shirt. My towel is also somewhat bleached but I often leave it behind anyway, laying directly on the and rinsing off in the ocean.

What elegance do you bring to a beach visit or other activity?
