Sounds like they did not have enough volunteers as opposed to any political or legal problems. Hopefully they will be back next year bigger and better than ever.

Portland is a relatively small city and putting on any event of that magnitude would be difficult.

Portland is a relatively small city and putting on any event of that magnitude would be difficult.

Philly is only marginally smaller and will be happening this year. A local friend of mine is doing it and leaving for Burning Man a few days after.
