Seems amazing that there would be objections to boobs being seen on the beach, especially given they are on TV, in movies and the availability online. Maybe the locals are concerned about the unsavoury types who may hang around to perv.
Topless women seen on the beaches here in Oz seems to ebb and flow. Saw lots again a few years ago but not so much last year, maybe it is where I go. Young women were coming in groups to Pt Addis where I sometimes go and once away from the family area, they would be topless in a group, I guess safety in numbers is the reasoning. A few would venture further along to the older CO section and be topless, some would get nude. I was hoping this was a sign that nudity was getting popular again, but it tapered off. We will see this summer.

My wife tends to dress very conservatively so her answer would be quite different from that of women who are comfortable wearing very small tops but not being topless. I was hoping to get some of these women to post, but none have.

Yes its unfortunate women wont answer what seems reasonable question, maybe for the same reasons they wont topless sunbathe?
There arent many women on TN because of over zealous sexualisation?
I can only speak for my partner who, does sunbathe topless with her gfs and me but feels less comfortable on her own. She very rarely goes out braless even though she has small breasts because of the unwanted attention her nipples attract. So why dont women sunbathe topless? Seems an obvious answer to me..?
Anyway, appears wrong by some that we men are discussing this
