First Nude Hike of the Year
Over the course of the winter I loose some of my passion for hiking in the buff. Then there is that first hike in the spring, and I'm reminded how wonderful it feels physically and mentally. This years hike was not in Colorado but in the sagebrush hills and aspen groves just across the state line in Wyoming. The openness and emptiness of that country is wonderful for nude hiking. The air was crystal clear and the views incredible. At times it was a little brisk, but that is part of the naked-in-nature experience. I hope you all get a chance to get out soon for your first nude hike of the year--if you haven't travelled out of the State to someplace warm this last winter.
Love your story and I relate to your experience of lessening interest in nude hiking as the winter goes on (and on and on in the north woods). I wondered if I would bother to seek it out when I got into a warm climate this week but as soon as I found a carless trailhead I got bare and had a great time. I hope I have more experiences this summer, home and on travels.
