NGD Weekend at Valley View/OLT

This last weekend at Valley View/The Orient Land Trust was a little chilly but otherwise awesome. Naked Garden Day was well attended; there were about 12 - 14 people who helped tend the greenhouses. Unfortunately, you still need sunscreen in a greenhouse. I ended up getting a sunburn on my back. That broke my #1 rule - no sunburns, especially on the first day of a naturist holiday. That evening, there was an awesome Native Plants walk, and the following morning, I led a geology tour. Despite the sunburn and less-than-ideal weather, I got a couple of naked hikes in, and of course, plenty of soaking. Early May is a roll of the dice, but I have rarely been disappointed. That crowd at VVHS has continued to evolve, becoming younger with more nudists/naturists. As it moves into summer, this isn't changing as much as it used to. I think it's because reservations are becoming hard to get. Causal hot springs soakers/tourists have a difficult time getting in.
