My First Train Ride in My Life

Hello, every-BODY. I'm CharmingAsianCY from Santa Clara County, State of California, USA. (Part of San Francisco Bay Area). I'm Asian by race and Han Chinese by ethnicity. I was born in Hong Kong (once a British colony and now a special administrative region of People's Republic of China). I never smoke/vape, take drugs, and consume alcohol. (Sorry, I also don't take marijuana/cannabis.) I became interested in nudism and naturism in June 2011. I became a nudist on October 24th, 2014, after joining a private nudist/naturist group based in an undisclosed location in San Francisco Bay Area, and joined TN 4 days later.

My first train ride in my life was a ride inside an original Metro Cammell EMU (AC) train from Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) in Hong Kong back in 1980s, which many Hong Kong locals refer to as the "Yellow Head" (Chinese: ), due to the yellow cover on the front and back sides of the train where the driver is sitting at. (Just in case you do not know what EMU is, it means "electric multiple unit".) I personally love this train, as this was my first train (and also my first electric train) in the world that I have taken in my life when riding public transportation. Each train consisted of 3 cars, but in Kowloon-Canton Railway in Hong Kong back in 1980s and 1990s, the longest train that I always and only saw was a group of 4 trains linked together in a total of 12 cars. It retained the similar interior of the old train carriage of Kowloon-Canton Railway before its electrification, where some seats were facing to the front and some seats were facing to the back. It was also the first train from Kowloon-Canton Railway to have interior lights, which meant we did not have to be in the dark when our trains were running inside a tunnel. This train was first brought into service in Hong Kong on May 6th, 1982, which was the first day of complete electrification for the railroad system under Kowloon-Canton Railway in Hong Kong. Sadly, the same train was officially retired on May 6th, 2022, exactly on the 40th anniversary of the electrification of Kowloon-Canton Railway, and so this train has become the nostalgic memory for many Hongkongers in both Hong Kong and abroad.

To be honest, I absolutely do miss this train very much. I personally hope I can ride this kind of train again when I have a chance within my lifetime. I am sure it will bring my nostalgic memory back to life should I actually do ride this train in the future in Hong Kong, UK, USA, or anywhere in the world.
