Tan through swimwear

Just wondering if it is worth buying some tan-through swimwear. Does it work? I understand it leaves a slight tan line - is this very noticeable? I would rather cover up than have a dreaded tan line!

If you use spf 30 or higher sunscreen elsewhere and don't put any under the swimsuit, the tan line is not noticeable. Two other advantages of tan through swimwear since they are thin, light weight material. They feel less confining than other swimsuits and dry faster.
