The Wisconsin Side
I found an isolated part of the North Beach at Kohler Andrae State Park. It is on the northern limit of the North Beach. It is a hollow formed by dunes and had no foot traffic while I was there. Take a beach blanket or towel to cover the course grass growing in the sand.
Walk north to the yellow boundary sign high on a dune. The hollow is just south of that behind the main beach dune.
I also used the far South Beach, but it has occasional foot traffic, so not comfortable there.
