A little help needed

I was just looking at some profiles and was wondering how to post a comment to the their profile page. I would like to drop a small greating to them but didn't want to have to go through with sending a PM. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Salmongetter is correct. You need to be friends with someone in order to leave a comment. Once you are friends a link will appear on that person's profile page to add a comment. This necessity cuts down on the Spam comments you often see on other social networks.
