The main opening picture on this site looks a lot like Blacks Beach in California. I don't remember Haulover Beach having tall cliffs.

Yea, there was a movie in the 80s and the guy was in Lauderdale racing and he drove off the cliffs. There are deep rock pits all over down there only problem is that they are all lakes. And there is a place called Mount Trashmore, it is way over a 100+ feet.
