looking for roommate/apt in DT Long Beach or near LA Metro

Hey,
Thought I'd give this a shot myself. DTLB solo resident
looking for a new place to live that's quieter than my current
building. Expenses-wise, thinking that a roommate might make sense.
Looking to stay within a 1-mile walk of a Metro rail station with a
preference for DTLB, but willing to consider other LA neighborhoods for
the right situation.
I'm month to month and looking for apartments on my own under $1100. I'd be looking to spend less for 1/2 of a 2-bd.
Beyond the distance from rail, my only real requirement is an apartment that is not the 1st floor. Not looking to share a 1-bd.
I figure this list is already limiting enough so let's start there. No hard feelings if we chat and the situation orchemistry's not right.
