As a 1955 model, I grew up in open showers, everyone walking around naked
in the locker rooms, no big deal. Now even strapping young muscle men and
young men cover up with the old towel trick , like the girls on the beach used
to pull. I refuse to cover up, however I was told to cover up in an LA fitness
sauna. Kind of silly but here we are.
As a 1962 model, I grew up the same way here, nudity in change rooms was what happened, not expected or wished, it just happened. It is what changing rooms are for and I am still that way when changing before or after swimming at my local pool. It's nonsense to be any other way but younger people are so paranoid these days the towel dance is how it is. Apparently it is so no one takes a photo and posts it on social media, and I get that to a point. The posting should be a crime and prosecuted but it doesn't happen.
So to everyone out there, as nudists I think we have a responsibility to claim back change rooms for nudity, strength in numbers I say, lets make it normal again.
