Camping, hiking, swimming, kayaking, foraging. I build, fix, modify, and repurpose things. Some artistic, some practical. Embracing back to basics and primitive survival techniques. Once, when the show Naked and Afraid was in it's first several seasons, seriously considered doing it. Was working full time then, but my co-workers were supportive. After giving up that job and RVing the country. Wintered in Arizona and discovered the perfect nudist off-grid campground. One of the women, who was a yearly regular, gave me the nickname "MacGyver" which I proudly accept.

I grew up in Idaho loving peaceful nature and have always had a special interest to hot springs which have always been a nudist attraction. I built a secret hot tub in a wooded marshy area on the edge of the city of Boise where an unused hot artesian well existed. I was only 14. After moving to Florida in 1997, a lady friend suggested we go to the nude beach. A nude beach right close to home? Sure enough. Navarre Beach! Many trips there over the years to enjoy peace and tranquility with the sounds of the surf. A great retreat just 15 minutes from work. But eventually too many creepy experiences there. Last time in 2003, never went again. It shut down shortly after. My acceptance of social nudism was truly tested when visiting the RV camp in Arizona in 2020. Non sexual activities that could not get much nuder! Nuder... is that a word? Now I'm hiding out in a small ghost town in rural Nevada and working as a camp host, volunteer food bank helper, tour guide, historian, and hot spring caretaker. I am a member of a select social naturist group. A non-landed club that travels to nude friendly destinations for camping, hiking, and hot springs.
