Who I'd like to meet
I don't really "like" meeting people I am an introvert rocking an extrovert's persona.
My Interests
I am interested in....life. I oftentimes ponder the "how and why" of the human mind and emotions. I am interested in understanding me and am becoming less interested in being understood. I am on the road to making peace and war....and understanding the correct time to implement them. Timing....now that's an enigma all it's own. I tend to get lost in obscure pursuits, I go on YouTube to see my favorite team's coach interview after the game and 5 hours later I have watched a video on the mating rituals of birds of paradise in New Guinea, a video on the world's worst prisons, a video about somebody that disappeared in the Amazon and obscure tribes around the world. I am an avid reader, a lover of books presently I am on a sci-fi kick and have read the entire L.A. Banks collection, the Toby Daye series and Jim Butcher. Also I love action/mystery/spy books as well. For a brief moment in time I was an avid Zane reader....but let's move on from that.. I zealously search for black authors because it's nothing like seeing and overstanding your own perspective in print. Movies....I detest romantic comedies, I detest most comedy movies because most are corny as fuck to me. I will knock your ass down getting to a Marvel or DC comic movie tho. I love a good action movie and have watched the Harry Potter series like 5 times. If something is getting shot or blown up I'm all in. I do like romantic movies but they have to be relatable. The Color Purple is the greatest movie ever made...argue ya mama and not me. But Alice Walker is in my top 10 of authors so....there is that. I am a Nicki Giovanni superfan, just FYI. I absolutely LOVE plays..not musicals

Here. So let me begin by saying if I could take music appreciation in college 3 times I would. I am a lover of the 3 Bs, Mozart, Vivaldi and other classical greats but I will absolutely ride out to YG and trap music. My favorite artist is his Purple Majesty Prince Roger Nelson, favorite band is tied with Frankie Beverly and Maze, the elements Earth, Wind and Fire and the Isleys...George Clinton gets an honorable mention. But Lynard Skynard's Simple Man brings me to chorus and tears...lots of tears, I like classic rock and will absolutely dance my ass off to REM's Losing my Religion just like the video, just like that. BB King, Bobby Blue and Lattimore was the backdrop of my childhood so Down Home Blues will get me out my seat and singing loudly. Oh I acts a fool on Lil Kim's verse in Quiet Storm.
