I was born in Hitchin, England, 1924 and emigrated to Salt Lake City, UT in 1948, with my wife and 2 year old boy. We had two girls and another boy.rnMy wife and I were both brought up as Mormons, but after studying science I realized there were too many contradictions between scientific fact and Mormon doctrine, and left the church. This led to a divorce.rnRetired from Caltech, Pasadena, 1989.
