I just ran across this group. I'd like to make a trek up to the reservoir, how is it these days? Is it deep enough to swim in? Are nude bathers still welcome?

The lake is low but you can find plenty of fishing, swimming and camping options on the San Carlos Irrigaton Project (SCIP) canal that enters into the reservoir. I spend at least 3 days a week out there and never have been disappointed.
