Opening Up and Being a Better Father
It is remarkable what can feel normal as a child. Repeated abuse can become so normal it didnt really phase me much. Only when we actually get older do we realize what we were conditioned to see as normal actually isnt at all - its fucked up. Im happy to see this group - opening up and confronting experiences head on is a great first step in moving on and becoming better. I used to be so angry. So easily agitated. So easily addicted and tempted. But remembering that nobody can chose my path for me really helped me. Also helped me become a better father.
