Does anyone know of an organic way to control Stink Bugs? They are destroying everything in their path.
Well we had our one day of Indian Summer on Monday 73 degrees. Dug beets and carrots got the raised beds ready for winter snows to cover them. Posted a photo of our harvest see how long it takes for it to get posted.
Well I love doing the gardening where possible but this is not always possible but sometimes when picking gooseberries you need cloths on to protect yourself. I have uploaded some photos of me hoeing some of the borders in the gallery section.
The weather has been warm and sunny the last couple of weeks here and it sure is nice to be back in the garden naked again. What is everyone planting this year?

Well last weeks late season freezes got my entire tomato planting and all but 2 of my bell peppers. They were all loaded with what was to be an early harvest. Oh well time to start over.
We have a foot of snow on the ground but the greenhouse is still providing spinach and kale that was planted last fall. Inside in the house we are starting this years' crops under the grow lights. Anyone else grow year round in the northern...
